I had a quick look at this website as I had a few idle minutes.

http://www.howmanyleft.co.uk/vehicle/tr ... le#!engine

Sometimes the results are a bit dubious but it claims there's a wedge convertable with an engine in between 7.5L to 8.0L, either taxed or on SORN in the UK.

Anyone seen such a thing?

Adam

Hi Adam in the Triumph World No 44 June/July 2002 there is an article on a 5.2L Tr7 converted by the owner a Charlie Richards,I wonder if this was later uprated to 7.5/8.0L at a later date, according to the DVLA it is still registered as a 2.0L TR7 but the date of liability states 2001 so has not been on the road for a while, the reg number is WRN444V.
I have the copy of Triumph World containing the article and it is pretty complex conversion unfortunatly I am unable to get photos on the site but you are welcome to borrow the mag to read it.
The list also states one 5.0L but there are at least two that I know of, one I think is owned by someone on here and another with a TVR Griffith engine.[;)]
