Where to put decals and badges

Can anyone point me to the direction of where all the decals and badges should be placed? Looking for specific measurements please [:)]

Initially looking for the early Speke cars with front wing blue enamel badges included, but if the info includes all variants that would be useful to have.

Thanks.

A few years ago there was a series of articles in the TR Driver with very precise dimensions of where they go. Try approaching them first, but otherwise someone on here should have a copy.

However IMHO the quality control by BL was so poor you could place them anywhere you like and there would be at least one car that had them there :)

Cheers

They produced a booklet from the article, with very specific measurements. I got a copy from the club, but it came with a letter that said it was copyrighted and should not be shared. I can respect that because they put a lot of effort into it, so deserve a bit of a contribution. Anyway, I can't find my copy to share, but you can get one from the TRDC. Paul,I can let you have a copy of both magazines.
The reason for the copyright is that the author no longer gets credit when its put on the internet. Sharing is not a problem after all we all want the cars to look right.

Thanks Chris, is there a cost of buying any back-issues?

I also have a copy of the <i>'Decals - and where to put them'</i> booklet in the TRDC Archive.

In response to a previous post Val McMillan, our previous Editor, no longer has access to the booklet.

Thankyou Chris/Maxwell.
Its for my 1980 DHC.
I'm reasonably sure they are correct as they stand but will be good to check.
