2014 Annual Wedge Calendar Photo Requests

-- Cross posting from the TR7 and TR8 mailing list --
I've been reminded that we should start EARLY on the TWOA calendar project so that everyone can have a calendar BEFORE the new year this time. It's the end of July almost, so here is the official kickoff Email.
Here's the request:
1. Submit a suitable photo (warning: cell phone photos tend to be a bit dicey quality-wise but not all cell phone photos are bad) to calendar@triumphwedgeowners.org
2. Project car photos are welcome, even encouraged, but they'll get voted on in a pool with everyone else's car so be clever with your "project" photo!
3. You cannot submit a photo of a car that's already been one of the monthly featured cars in a past calendar.
4. You CAN resubmit a photo again if your car wasn't a Monthly featured car. I have the photos from past years calendars stashed on this computer somewhere if you cannot find what you sent before.
Me? I like cars in interesting settings and places and seasons, it IS a calendar after all.
I'm afraid people in photos are discouraged, the judges tend to shy away from those shots (no, I'm not one of the judges). So, no glam shots with your favorite guy or gal. It's the cars we're interested in, right? [:D]

(feel free to pass this Email along to someone who isn't a regular here!)
P.S. Wayne once sent us a helpful tips on photographing your car from Hemmings that looks pretty good:

Feel free to share other tips on photographing your car if you know of any! We ARE trying to show our cars off in the best light after all!
