Hi Guys, I just spent best part of an hour fitting the door window weather seal. Is there an easy way to do this?

I've only done it with the window/door card out. You can then press on the weatherstrip clips with your fingers. This also gives you the opportunity to clean and grease the window winder, replace/inspect/reposion/re-install the window felt guides, adjust guides to prevent window cocking, remove quarter window frames for repainting with trim paint, repair broken tabs on door light and clean it's contacts, remove clean and grease, door latches, replace torn/missing outer latch gasket, install missing rubber bumper that keeps outer door latch even, sprat Waxoil into lower door seams.

Would be easy to make, it has a magnet to hold the clip. I got it for my TR4A, but works great on the TR8, too. Just press the seal down tight, then use the tool to pull the clip up into place.

If you get the special tool and its not magnetic then dip the end in grease that'll hold the clip on and if your using new clips then just open them out slightly with a screwdriver first.....

I made one of those tools out of a 30mm wide strip of galvanized stripping, with the "handle" end wrapped with 5 or 6 thicknesses of masking tape.

I use a bit of blue tack to hold the clips in the tool.
