Spotting wedges

When was the last time you saw a wedge on the road excluding rallies and auto shows? If you have more than one car the second one doesn't count.
I was trying to recall my own last sighting and could not come up with one. I'm sure I have seen one but it must have been so long ago that it's gone from my memory.

I've seen a white TR7 a couple of times around Vancouver (WA). Another list member has a TR8, but I've yet to see him out and about. But they are a pretty rare sight around here.

I haven't seen you or the white TR7 yet. Hopefully mine will be prowling the streets of Vancouver again soon.

I was thinking the same yesterday when Merv and I where viewing more horse power then the Queen Mary.
Then on the way home we pass a blue TR8 going the opposite direction.
They seem to come out of the blue every once and a while.

When I was in the North of England and Scotland with 't Kreng recently it was amazing how many people came over to the car saying something like "you don't see these very often nowadays" [:D]

The last one I saw which wasn't from one of my TR7 driving friends was some two years ago, red dhc in the town of Roermond ...

Other than the one Ron mentioned, I didn't see it being focused on the back of Ron's car as we wound it up to 75mph (speed limit 55 mph). The last time (out of the blue) was 2006 when I was on the way home from Sacramento, I stopped off at Old Farm Market to pick up some salad stuff and there was a lighter green TR7 in the parking lot. When I came out it was just leaving (female driver), followed it going North to the North of Duncan when I turned right to head home. That she would be shopping at that market would tend to indicate a local car but I never saw it again, on the road or any car shows.

Don,
Just spread a little Speedy Dry on your garage floor. Kind of like a litter box for a cat.[:D]

I used to know where all the wedges in Houston were located. Now they have almost all disappeared. There are 12 TR7/8 in the Houston club. 2 are TR7s and the rest are TR8s.

Of course there is one family in the Dallas area who own about 6 TR7/8s and one STAG.

Clay,
Why don't we establish a wedge spotting sub forum called Another One Seen or something like that? If they are as rare as I think it would be interesting to report and keep track of them. Maybe even give a prize for the most seen. Like birders do. Similar in the movie The Big Year.[:D]

in the last 10/12 years I have seen only 3 TR7/8s on the road, & none when I have been in my 7 or 8.

That exactly the same number of Morgan 3 wheelers I've seen.

You should have seen Jim, Bill and I cutting across New Mexico and Arizona in three TR8s going to Triumphest last year!
