Quick Blast

It was a nice day yesterday, blue skies but cold and I had to go and sort out my brothers computer so thought it was a good day to take the TR7 out for a quick blast. Its been parked up for a couple of weeks so needed a run, at least that was my excuse.

Set off top down with a big smile and thoroughly enjoyed myself but arrived with freezing cold hands - I had forgotten to take my gloves. What a plonker! or perhaps I am just getting older?

Anyway, loved it as usual but must admit to coming home with the roof up.

Yup, still a little cool to go top down although it's tempting with that spring sunshine streaming in through the windshield warming up the cockpit. Older, wiser head must prevail and keep it up for some time to come. I keep the gloves in the glove compartment so they are there when I need them, at least until it's warm even in the night.

Russ, if you bought your brother a few old broken computers, it should only cost pennies, & you could have a permanent excuse, any time the day was nice. [}:)]

Hasbeen you are incorrigible - but it might be a good idea.
Must give it some thought, hmmmm wonder if I could get away with it?

It has been real nice here. I have put around 130 miles on the beastie since Friday morning. It is supposed to get up into the low 70s today. I went on the beginning of a club tour today still in the 50s but nice. I promised the wife I'd be back early to help with dinner so I only did about a 20 mile loop. The impromptu tour only had 4 cars show up. Nobody's wives came with them, and they were all TR6s except me. I felt like the odd man out. But, like Russ said, "big smile" enjoyable, but no freezing hands for me.

Yep, really nice around here the last few days. I took the hardtop off and drove it all day for work on Friday. As much as I like the top for winter it's GREAT to have it off!
