Do you want the parts,
or do you want a 'good' price?

Its going to be a wash. Door card if you get from the UK its a shipping cost versus getting them from places like Victoria British. The carpets are depends on the level of quality. There is cheap which fit ok.....nothing fantastic up to the "deluxe" kits that are more appealing and of better quality also the same deal as with the door cards of the pros and cons from UK or US suppliers.

The door cards from Victoria British are more expensive than the English ones but of a higher quality with an aluminum backing to prevent warping and a replaceable inner waist seal (similar to the outer waist seal). I got a set of door cards from Rimmers for $40 on a 70% off winter sale a number of years ago which were like OEM (NOT AS GOOD AS VB). Carpets are pretty much you get what you pay for. The cheap ones you can get on eBay for $160 are pretty thin (I have a set for Yellow TCT). They will look OK initially but will not last as long. From many of the respective carpet manufacturers you can often get a sample shipped to you before ordering so you can see what you're getting before buying a set.

Here in Canada we can get parts shipped cheaper and quicker from the UK than we can from the US (I know that seems backwards seeing there is an ocean and a continent to cross) but in the US you will have to pay a little more compared to the cheap shipping costs you are used to. If you are ordering from Britain see if you have a local British parts supplier that is a Moss dealer. Here on the West Coast we have one in Vancouver and one in Kelowna where you can order Moss stuff at catalogue prices and only pay local shipping and no duty.

I'll second the quality of the door cards from Victoria British! They are very good quality and the texture is more of a leather than vinyl. The aluminum rail underneath the top fold makes them very sturdy, and as FI mentioned makes it easier to replace the weatherstrip there. Also, the weatherstrip at the top is too long which means you cut it to fit your car. There are no holes in the vinyl for window crank or door pull, this is actually a good thing. If you're converting to electric windows there will be no hole to plug. The holes are provided on the hardboard underneath so no cutting needed there. I did have to transfer the plastic trim pieces behind the door handle opening and the door light, also I transferred the inner plastic door lining to the new cards. The holes for the door clips are already there and in the correct spots, although I did have to trim the vinyl in a couple places for the clips to pop in place properly. I got them on sale a couple months ago. I am VERY happy with them.
