My '76 FHC is mimosa yellow. Does anyone know if a green plaid interior was used with this color?

Only Green material was for carpets I can see from the above listing - maybe wrong but have a look through it [;)]

Thanks for that link. I had forgotten about it. It looks like from 76 to 79 they had a green check door trim and seat. Mine is all black and I need some new seats and door cards. I was thinking of switching the door cards to green check just to put a little color into the interior. The all black in the FHC looks a bit spartan.

Cars painted Mimosa should have black seats and door cards, I agree with you that the green check looks a lot brighter.

I like the dark interior. I guess you could tell from my black Spider with it's back interior and black Integra and black interior. They're my man caves and caves should be dark. [:p]

There are cars that look better with light interiors though.

I never could get with plaid of any colour though. It's all personal taste.

My Tumeric yellow TR7 (1979) interior CAAA has tan interior, not a fan of tan interiors either even though my Tercel 4X4 wagon has it. Oh, well.

For trim code CPAA this is what you should have.. The seats are a darkish navy that generally looks black. They always seem to look navy in photo's especially if a flash is used.

That's intersting. The extra A on both trim codes seems to indicate black kneepads, shifter boot and center consol pad as CAA has these in the tan of the seats/door cards.

The tan colour for early cars is usually referred to as biscuit or beige I believe. Later cars using the tan with tartan check are tan or golden tan. Export Tr7's, UK DHC Tr8's and 1981 Usa/Canada Tr8's are also often fitted with Tan Velour. Of course interiors are pretty interchangeable as long as you allow for with/without door light and round/square lock buttons.

The all black (dark navy cloth seats) does grow on you and I'm even wishing I'd gone for black headlining. That said I do have a full size sunroof with I use a fair bit and helps lighten the interior.

while I like the solid colours especially black , the plaid interiors on a TR7 just do it for me (I'd even consider/like a red check interior on my silver dhc)

The DHC is Russet Brown with red tartan. I like that interior a lot. Like Croydebay, my FHC has that interior. I like it and would not be considering the extra color on the door card, but I can't find that dark blue cloth on the black vinyl.

Those might look nice in my car, I'd have to find the seats too. I'm torn between that and tan or biscuit leather.
