Yeah, it should be pop riveted to the header rail. I'm not sure, but I may see the head of the pop rivet where it should be directly above your hand.

Yep. We've talked about this a couple times before; you need a rivet (and rivet washers or it will probably just tear out again). Getting a rivet gun in there can be difficult. I drilled out the rivet and replaced it with a tiny little bolt with washers and a locknut.

There doesn't seem to be a hole on it.

If I recall correctly on the original hoods there was a small flap attached to the edge and the rivet went through this. supercass
