Is this priced too high? TR7 V8

I'm trying to sell my TR7 V8 DHC - I recently put it on ebay at what i thought was a rock bottom price. What do you guys/gals think?

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/321064178370?ssPageName=STRK:MEUSX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1560.l2649

My thinking is the hardtop is worth £200+
The last offer i had for the domain TR8.co.uk was £300
I can sell the spares for £100

Makes my car £1,850 - surely that's cheap isn't it? or do I have to go lower? Or have people stopped enjoying classics with the country the way it is.

Kind Regards
Steve.

It looks like a beautiful car! I did the conversion and that price on the auction in the link is just under 4 grand US. To me that sounds like a pretty good price! Could just be bad timing. I do have an opinion as to pricing on eBay. If you put your max price as the starting price it can drive people away. I would set the reserve at the least you would take and set the starting bid really low. Once you get people bidding against each other it will take off. Strictly my opinion. It is a great looking ride and you should get what you want for it.

Hi Randy,
Lets put it to the test eh!

Don't worry i wont hold you accountable when she fetches £487. lol.

I was thinking of what you said - so thought i'd try it.

At least we all get to learn something from a £1 starting bid. (god i'm nervous)

Cheers
Steve.

If you watch items on EBAY, you'll see that the price they reach is very close to the real market value.
