Hi John,

Not a 100% sure but Thatcham do a lot ' time's ' for bodywork repairs, ie. how long to replace a damaged wing in the event of an accident,so a insurance company know's the cost, as I say not 100% sure though. They are also involed in alarms and tracking devices testing these and rating them, but dontb think that will applicable to this book.

I notice on The Register forum that Graham Robson is doing a follow up to his ' Works Triumphs ' book giving a lot more details called Works Triumphs In Details, should be a good read when out next year.

Cheers John

John, I found one of those cheap off Ebay myself.
Its a small pocket size booklet detailing all the body panels showing weld details etc. Also has bodyshell dimensions very much like the relevant pages in the factory workshop manual. Intended as a reference for bodyshops who wouldn;t be interested in the full manual. As well as the alarm stuff Thatcham also acted as a "best practice" guide for car body repairs for the insurance industry.

Was told today at college the thatcham database is also available online for body shops to look up details needed to do proper and save repairs.
