Triumph World Front Cover TR7

I've just seen the front cover for the next issue of Triumph World and it's pretty damned good! Roy Hankins yellow TR7 with the tag line "AN ICON OF ITS ERA".

Absolutely bloody wonderful!

Well done Roy and Michelle! The photo looks great. And who's that pretty model in colour coordinating yellow? As if I didn't know.

Seriously, we really didn't know this was going to be the cover shot. We thought there would be a thumbnail on the cover somewhere but to be the main cover photo is fantastic. What a stunning advert for our favourite sports car.

An icon of its era? Roy or the car?[:D]

Seriously, that is wonderful, not just for Roy & Michelle but for the TR7 too! I don't imagine that Roy & Michelle's model ever imagined she would be on the cover of a national publication either!

What is the publication date John?

I think it's scheduled for 28th December but WH Smiths always seem to get them early.

This really is a great advertisement for the cars and perfect timing just after the three yellow cars together at the NEC proved to be such an attraction. They caused quite a bit of a stir going up the M5 together too.

Unfortunately we only seem to get one copy at couple of towns over book store and the time I get there it's usually gone. Too cheap for a subscription.[:p]

Looking forward to my copy when it arrives, seeing the yellow TR7 got me interested in getting my Yellow Sprint back on the road next year.

Interesting to know you can buy a Digital version

I get the digital edition and have enjoyed it. But their idea of a digital subscription is a bit puzzling. You can get individual issues for 1.99 or a 3 issue subscription for 6.99. One would normally think it should be cheaper when you subscribe, not more expensive!

I do hope you all enjoy the read whilst you slumber on the sofa from your over indulgance of turkey and mince pies over the festive period.

I must say thanks to John Clancy,Simom Goldsworthy(editor Triumph world) and Michelle for the great pics, and of course the star of the show, my Laura, (the new Sue Cuff), for being such a good sport.

Promoting the TR7 and the TRDC in the national press was the ultimate winner here.

Picked up my copy yesterday, what a great read!

Pictures are fab, and I really like the way the article avoids going over the same old ground about the history of the TR7, but instead focuses more on Roy & his car, and how the great pictures came about. Well done Roy, Michelle & Laura!

Hi,

Read my copy yesterday and one of the best TR7 articles I have read in a long time, with good publicity for THEbest TR7 / 8 car club ( TRDC ) along with Michelle's simply excellent pictures and Laura looks a natural.

Also great article by Mr Clancy talking to Kas Kastner cant wait to read part 2

A must read for any Triumph owner

Cheers John
