im new to all this my dad owned a triumph yard when i was younger and i always loved them so i bought a triumph herald 13/60 convertible and now this tr7, but i honestly dont have a clue and was wondering what you would pay for this tr7
(pictures attached) triumph tr7 convertible with sprint engine alloy wheel near new tyres usa style front and rear bumpers bucket seats with harness seat belts brand new roof hood fitted just a few months ago also a spare engine and gearbox to go with the car car starts and runs mot has expired its still taxed to end of october this year. hasnt seen the road this year would make a good project car. the paint work is not too great and could do with a respray inner wings or strut tops have never been welded good solid condition

Hi. I think you need to find out what it needs for an MOT. Without MOT it's not going to be worth over maybe £500 as project/parts car. If it's possible to get it roadworthy you could double that or more if it scrubs up well. It does look marginal around the strut towers etc. With Christmas looming you need to sell right now or otherwise everyone will be committing their cash to that and then spend Jan and Feb climbing out of the financial hole they have dug for themselves.

Just my thoughts, feel free to disagree.

Steve
