I'm just finishing up with assembly on the TR7 coupe as it received a fresh coat of yellow. I've powder coated the windscreen molding and would like to install it. The problem is that the painter resealed my windscreen, as it was just sitting in place, and I'm not sure if there is enough room for the molding. Do these molding press into place with friction to secure, or do I use a sealant? Should this have been done while the screen was installed? Should I just get a professional in to do the molding? The car does look great with all the other black accents. I'll need to post a picture when done.

If you are talking about the 2 piece stainless trim that goes around the screen, then it is normally held in place by the windscreen adhesive, so it is pressed into place carefully before the glue sets!

I would not think that you could now press it into place now if the screen has already been glued/sealed, unless there is room to push it into place, then you might be able to put a bead of sealant into the channel & then press the trim in.
