When I had one that colour it had gold decals. However I have also seen silver in the past. Personally I prefer silver.

I do have Silver on Blue but of course that's not original.
But I know at least two Cavalry Blue cars over here that came with Silver decals from the factory.

My Cavalry Blue Solihull FHC has original decals & they are gold.

But I guess silver would look good too. Your choice[:)]

I used to have chrome strobed ones a bit like the TR8, prior too re-spray but i am thinking about taking it back to original with the exeption of period add ons...
But I don't think gold with stainless boot rack silver wheels etc. will look right.

I agree. Gold doesn't look right, silver too contrasty, I like the strobe effect we've seen on this forum but I would go with greyish or ghost like effect possibly a varying shade to coincide with the strobe if that is even possible. Not close to stock though if that's your intent.

My blue 7 had silver/grey decals front & back.

The colour was very similar to the colour of the stock alloy wheels, & I thought it suited it at least as well as black decals on the red one.

I have a russet brown with bisque/tan/plaid interior. 30th anniversary, I believe the code is AAE.

what color do you think my decals were? both on the trunk and the bonnet?

or is there a resource for this?
