It was there on display last year, Steve, when our local TRDC group had a visit to the museum one weekend.

The car was rather hemmed in by other exhibits so it was difficult to see much detail, but the T bar roof looked rather like the Stag set up.

I did take a picture of it, if I can find it I will upload for all to see [:)]

These have been sent to me by Howard722 who took them many years ago before the museum aquired the car. Thanks Howard.

It was certainly on display last week when I visited on my way down to St Ives in Cornwall for a weeks holiday.

Sadly I was unable to look at the VIN number or really get a good look at the car as Haynes are in the middle of a massive rebuild programme. Most of the cars on display seem to have been shoved up tight like sardines so the museum can remain open.

I quite like the idea of the "Stag like" T bar although I would like a close look at the Haynes car to see how it was done.

cheers

Ian

I built one for my TR7 Convertible. It changed the feel of the car to more like that of a Coupe.

There are some pictures here:-
