A pair went on U.K.e bay a few days ago, about £50. They were described as brand new, but the one that was shown looked quite shop worn. Some of the current replacements are far cheaper and work better, but have a black surround instead of chrome. supercass

I know they're rare, but they're not THAT rare! I've been doing FI Spiders fix on mine and I think they're going to last a lot longer now.

There is an '81 in a junkyard near me I noticed both door lights were in place. Went to pull one out and they had just glued the chrome surround and lens in place. Nothing else was there. Ugh!

I'd call it price gouging. I bought some used ones a few years back that were not perfect but pretty good. I think I got 2 for $10.

Stupid imho, as you can get them for a little money from many french cars in your local breakers yard.

Far better chance of finding a TR7 in the auto wrecker than a French car over here (or on the road for that matter). I got one or two good used ones on eBay for cheap or go for new black ones, not likely to have any concourse judged events on a TR7.[:p]

Those are slightly different but can be made to fit fairly easily.
