Oh those TVR boys are such hoots

What amuses me the most is that the 'wedge' TVRs are pretty much the poor end of the TVR stable and frequently looked down upon by their 'proper' TVR owning followers.

Anyway - have a read and a laugh: http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&f=12&t=1159114&i=0&mid=0&nmt=

I love his attempt to spell Opportunity...kind of spoils his moment of literary glory.

Photo is quite funny though [:D] you have to admit? lol

TVR boys get wounded worse when my Grinnall leaves them in the dust, always worth the extra fuel to ruin their day [;)] None of those wedge TVRs are a match for a well sorted TR7V8 and I know that from test driving lots when I was looking to buy one! Plus, you need to use all the luggage space for clean underwear should you ever be brave enough to go round a corner at more than 25mph in one as well!

x2 - I also found the post humorous, and some of the comments were not what he expected I'm sure....

(after going over the first wedge TVR I've ever seen up close two weeks ago, I'm really not convinced any of them should feel any sort of "superiority Complex" over our cars )
- and it could be worse......after all it could have be a MGB guy making the statement [:p]

It seems that some TVR owners are very insecure.

Meh, it looks a little to over the top imho (in a TVR kind of way [;)])

This would be one of my favorite MGB's [8]

My next door neighbour sold his Ferrari to buy one of those but the rear wagon spring ripped out of the floor. Still trying to find someone who can weld in a new floor. At least he still has his direct injection stinkpot (power boat).
