Ever since I have had my TR8 the turn signals have been loose, the base would move when you used the turn signal. I took it apart this weekend and found the clamping boss had broken off, it's a poor system but it just uses a plastic clamp to stop it rotating around the steering column. So after a little head scratching I came up with this, looks tacky but works perfectly. Using a cutting disk and a small file I was able to cut a groove to put in a regular hose clamp, you have to be careful you miss the electrical connectors, but it only took a few minutes.
