Considering the work involved in changing out a fuel level sender: Personally I'd <u>never</u> replace a truly broken one
with a second hand/pre owned/used one... And if it's just the float that's gone bad - Jaguar spare part number
JLM772 is identical, and still available OTC...

totally agree odd, i think a new sender def the best option, and pretty sure they start around the 25 quid mark and at least you dont go through the hassle of changing things over then finding it still doesn't work....... one of my early mistakes...lol
