just run my 1980 dhc from my home in wiltshire, about 150 miles to the ferry and across to the isle of wight, its longest trip in my ownership so far. ran fine, cruising the motorway about 65/70 mph,tacho packed up but was fixed by a sharp blow to the top of the dash!! really heavy rain all the way, but just a small drip onto my knee from the corner of the hood! the more i drive it the more i love it(pretty good from a confirmed bike/harley rider)

Living in the North East means all trips in the TR are long(ish).

Done quite a few trips to the TR Drivers & TR International in the last 20 years that are 200+ miles each way. Nothing compared to our US brothers.

Still, any journey that we make in the TR7 is an adventure to be savoured.
