Anyone have a line on front wheel studs for new rotors?

1.) Are both thread patterns right or left?
2.) Is one left AND the other right?
3.) What are the chances of successfulllllly removing existing studs from old rotors?

Thanks...ed

Hi Ed,

I am not sure what you mean here. The brake rotors bolt to the hubs and the hubs have studs for the wheel nuts. Rotors are easy to remove because they use bolts.

Can you put up a pic?

The replacement rotors do not have studs! I am looking to replace the studs in the rotors.

Have a look round the Rimmer Bros website. It's very informative.

IF you can find them, there are $25 a pop! (Like, each!) Use the old ones and press them out and press them back in. They are all exactly the same. I removed my and put them in new hubs when I did the big bearing change out.

New, rotors? The rotors bolt on from the front of the hubs. Once you unbolt them from the front, just pull off the hubs and the new one just slide off/on.
