Wheel & Tyre Sizes

The early coupe I'm restoring was fitted with some after market wolfrace alloys, the tyre size fitted was 205/60x13. Being an early 4-speed it would originally have had 175/70x13.

How do you work out the tyre sizes appropriate to wheel diameter to make sure the speedo reads correctly? Is there a formula?

I love that. Just spent 30 mins of my life playing with it.
