Feel a bit stupid

My TR7V8 has been out of sorts recently with back-firing and running rough. It seemed like an ignition problem rather than fuel/engine but ordered some parts from various places and replaced the coil, rotor, distributor cap, ignition leads. Fuel filter was leaking to replaced it and also replaced the fuel pipe that was brittle.

I basically run out of time and got my local garage to check as I thought it may have been something more complicated and dropped it off last Thursday. Anyway, the rest of the spare parts arrived Thursday afternoon (plugs) and I got a call on Thursday afternoon to say they fixed the problem by replacing the plugs. If only I'd waited...

Yup, so easy to panic and assume the worst rather than going from easiest to hardest.

On the bright side, you're all stocked up for when those bits DO go bad!
