Our weather seems to be mirroring yours (perhaps a bit cooler). We've got a week of sunny weather but the Spider is in the garage for the winter with gas tank topped up and stabilizer and injector cleaner added. Have to remove dash to get at broken/jammed glove compartment lock. May do some of Hasbeen's neoprene strips on dash pieces if I can find something suitable. The big job will be clutch, removing tranny from the bottom with extra high jackstands I got for that purpose. That's around the house extensive renos (will be doing painting/staining in our sunny weather).

Most people are putting away the wedges for the winter.

I live in Arizona, and it is finally getting cool enough to enjoy a convertable.

A few weeks ago the weatherman said that day would be the last day in the 100's for us. He is saying that again for today. Hopefully there will be no more repeats of this forcast.

Vicki has been to work with me today and about to take my daughter to work in her. Forecast is vastly different for tomorrow, hope they are wrong!

The Portland Triumph Owners Association has their last tour of the year tomorrow. I'm going. I still don't have a heater, but the top should be fully attached by then. Last year I nearly froze going over the coast range. This year it is supposed to get up to 65F here in the valley and I have a nice warm knit hat. When I get home I'll be topping the tank and adding fuel stabilizer for the winter.

Went out the DHC today, first time i have driven her for over a month, always seam to take the FHC out at the moment. bl88dy hell it seamed quick after getting use to the 2 litre put a huge smile on my face.Worth keeping them on road all year for sure.

Same here Rob, but the other way round.

We're coming into summer, & it will be too hot, or too wet, [summer wet season here] for top down motoring, except at
night. It can be magic then though.

That is the reason I fitted the air con to the FHC too. Last summer I found myself taking another car, as the 7 was just too hot to want to get into after a while parked in the sun.

I even tried the air con running, with the top down. It does help in the Honda S2000, but doesn't help much with the 8.

typical fall day here in Quebec ....raining off and on,cold and windy!

Drove the seven today though for about a 1/2 blast to go pick up my daughter at the mall.

I'll keep my wedge on the road 'till about mid November or the first snow/salting of the streets ......then she's away to spring.

Might tackle the interior this winter, if the funds permit and a seat rebuilding ......

...Our 100 spell ended a couple of days ago, we're now down into the cool weather (ninety for the week) [8D]

I'm spoiled by AC, even though I drove my daily around for longer than I could really stand without so much as even an electric fan, though honestly repairing the AC system is what pushed me over the edge on loving that car and using it from day to day [:)]

Alternately, in my old car the heater was broken and I never actually missed it in our climate.

Admittedly, working on some old car is something I view more as a winter past time, so perhaps the cooling weather will encourage me to seek the warmth of a running TR7 engine.

every day i've had off work lately i seem to of been busy or its been raining and not been able to get out on car, finally today, been out given it once over and sorted a few niggling probs for mot, think its a run up to the mot station tomorrow and see if he can fit me in during the week, collect on friday then hopefully with a pass or a very small fail sheet,.......lol

then, prob not in the tr, can end my yr with trip to restoration show down shepton followed by trip to the nec, and get a few trips to work in the tr to get it all working and running tidy.....[:D]
