Hi all, does any one have any pics of the silver paint scheme that Buffum used on the RAC rally if my memory serves me? Our new suits are silver and gray and i was trying to find a pic of his car. I thought I had one, but cant find it.

Anybody else notice there are no door mirrors on that car.

How did that stack up with meeting road regulations at the time or are we talking pre door mirror legislation?

How weird is that a mate of mine gave me a print of a picture showing this car taken at a RAC rally at the weekend.

Nice to see the old girl!

If you notice on the RAC rally pictures the car was badged as a TR8.

TR7V8 or TR8? That is the question.

baahhhh ...rally wedges in red are overplayed (flamesuit fully installed [8D])

I never seen this silver/black combo before and really really like it, imho it's the best colour combination I've seen yet! (even better white....)

Hi Steve just kicking a few ideas around really. Trying to find the motivation to finish the Datsun 1600 that is still on the spit, the same as when you where here.I have to finish it before I can start the new TR. I figured that if it really excites me to start the TR then I will finish the Datsun.
The red is classic ,but has been done a bit. Maybe the Buffum scheme would be that bit different.[:)]

Troy-All I can say is dont be expecting any endorsements by Buffum......he is not happy about replicas of "his" cars at all. I found out first hand. I think your far enough away unless he shows up at a WRC event that is possible to also hear his opinion on replicas.

Last I heard was that the car was for sale to fund a Peking to Paris type trip in another of the owners cars.

was asked to deliver it to the TR registers international in 2010 , sadly I couldn't go - what a real shame.

Cheers
