Rear screen removal & replacement

Having had a DHC for the last 20 years and 2 x FHC's for only the last year, I've never had the need to take out a rear screen but now the need arises.

I need to make a small repair which means the rear screen should come out and looking for some advice on the best way to remove so I can later replace with damaging the glass or rubber surround.

Advice appreciated.

Paul, I pushed mine out by lying on the seats, & using my feet.

I was frightened it may brake, so wore soft soled, ankle high slippers, to protect myself, & it.

It was quite easy. I pushed near the top, which eased out gently, then worked it out with a assistant outside to stop it falling.

Used the string in the moulding system to put it back, no trouble.

Paul....

Where you based? I've a spare rear screen and a used rubber going begging. A small donation to my Mongol Fund will secure, and I mean small! I'm in SE England, and the glass is green-tinted. Was thinking of dumping it. LOL
