Noble M600 is not faster than a TR7

Postby prlee » 16 Sep 2011 22:11

Well not in traffic anyway.

I got behind a Noble M600 today between Evesham and Tewksbury tonight. Took a while to work out what this car was - reg M600 XX something.

During the 15mile drive it kept accelerating with a fantastic sound and response it often dissapeared. But after 15 miles or so it was still the only car in front of me [:D][:D][:D]

I then went south on the M5 and he went on t Tewksbury.

So in traffic the Noble M600 cannot out run a TR7 [8D]

I remember many years ago, I think it was sponsored by a car magazine, where they had two Mercedes drive across America with one car sticking to speed limit with the other driving as fast as he dared trying not to get speeding tickets. They ended up in LA with very little time separating them.

I got a ride in a Noble while at RoadAmerica a few years ago. The track was closed for the day, so we went out on the streets of Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin. That car had amazing acceleration, handling, and braking. I thought I was going to die more than once, but the salesman just drove around trouble....

Deja Vu Pete!

I used to have the V6 mondeo,a great car as far as euroboxes are concerned, would have liked to put the turboed Noble V6 in there as it was originally the same engine, may have been a bit too powerful for a front wheel drive though.

What's that coming over the hill? Is it a monster?
