Does anyone know the best way to attach the top cover buttons to the top or cover? There are 2 pieces for which it seems you need some sort of tool to spread the brass part so it holds together. I've never seen this mysterious tool. How can it be done? Tony

Hi Tony ,

You do indeed need a tool, basically a cup which the outer part of the button sits in, then another part of the tool spreads the inner part over so securing the outer button

They sell them at Hobby Lobby; this I know for sure because I have bought them there.

They will have an equivalent at a boat repair shop.
Ace Hardware might have them.

Dude! Just go to a fabric shop. They have them! But I do think I got mine from Hobby Lobby.

On second thought, go check your wife's sewing bin, probably one in there!
