BBC Scotland have contacted me with a request for a scale model of a TR7 DHC - it's scripted as being 'mint green' but this can be changed.

Please let me know if you have one you wish to sell or loan... it could be a TV star (ish)

hehe my son keeps asking for the Brera pedal car[:0]

The 'example' was a Trofeu model which - if I recall correctly - is something like 1/40ish. So yup 'Shadow' would be a little too large. I've only got FHC's as that's my bias.

They're 1:43rd scale. What you/they need is either the Apollo Models, the Trofeu or the K&R Replicas versions. But, be aware - most if not all of them are LHD...

I have a Triton green K&R TR8 dhc, in lhd, in 1:43. Not mint green though.

Also a mid green Tonka fixed head in about 1:32.

No other greens, but gold dhc Trofeu 1:43 dhc rhd....

A few old Dinkys lying around that could quickly become mint green.

Why don't they buy one?
It must be a real low budget film.

Yes,
K&R would build one in exactly the version/colour they want...

Speaking of working lights....one of our members brought his 5 year old son to the meeting last night after which the little guy wanted to sit behind the wheel of the Dolomite Sprint of our technical co-ordinator. His favourite toy is his Ford Escort Mexico. Our treasurers and my TR7 were the last to leave and it was past dusk. Bill started his car and turned on his lights and the little guy was so surprized. Then his dad directed his attention to mine as I started up and turned up the lights. Made his whole night. No doubt a future member.

Thanls for all of your replies - must be low budget and poorly directed... they've sourced a TR6[:0].

I've passed on a pic of Scottish Grinnall's model (that's cool... nearly as neat as Harris' picture of TRisha[:p].) so maybe they'll see sense.

I did this the other week at a show, my son loved the 'magic lights' (tho' he couldn't see them very well from his booster seat), a couple of the other youngsters were impressed... I was a wuss though and didn't switch them off-on again - just in case the magic failed!
