Done it, at least I have removed the face on my identical Radiomobile branded speakers as a trial run. They were indeed glued on. How times change though! When taken apart it was evident that they were beautifully made, with a solid perforated black plastic coated metal casing, a well made solid heavy duty integrated drip guard, heavy speaker magnet, heavy speaker chassis but a laughable feeble paper cone full range speaker, probably of the sort you would find in a 'Pound Shop' purchase today, if at all! It must have been of adequate quality 30 years ago, though!
