I was looking on the Moss site and I was wondering if any of the nice items on here could be made to fit our cars?>

Electric hood = more weight = go slower! Less weight = go-faster LOL

As my Dad once said' "the more electrical parts there are, the more there are to go wrong".

So, if it ain't broke don't fix it, if it ain't there to break, I'll never have to fix it.[:)]

It would be nice to see a TR with a hood that goes up and down nice and smooth, like the ones on the SLK.

|The reason I was looking at these is that about a year or so ago, I brought a boot release fit and central locking kit from Robsport. This was with the intention of buying the key-less entry kit, when the funds allowed. However, before I could buy it, the last kit was sold. I did hear that the three parts of the kit came from Moss and I was wondering if I get the key-less entry kit here, if I could make it work on the items that I have fitted. The next step will be to look at the fittings and then see if they will fit.

I've got the then Moss Wedge parts kits in my '8 (less the luggage lid solenoid - that I had already built
myself, and the power window module - since I prefer to keep the windows down when I arm the alarm
on the topless car...); Keyless entry (OK, I admit I still don't fully trust the system, so have kept the key lock
in the drivers door), Central locking/Immobiliser, Alarm, Electric windows, Remote boot etc. etc. Great
things to have, but unfortunately sold out since long, and in general they look definitely different to the
parts pictures in that link of yours...

That is a shame, as I had the money to buy all the bits when they were available. So now it looks like that I will have to go without the key less entry kit. However, the control box on the Central Locking Kit looks the same. Just need to know how it all connects??
