Paddy & Rauno excellent Mini Promo

This has nothing to do with the wedge but I think it's so good you'll all like to see it. This is Paddy Hopkirk and Rauno Aaltonen back in 33 EJB, Paddy's 1964 Monte winning car. Magic!

They had this TV add for Mini in NZ where they ran the car over a bridge across a little river in Christchurch (The place that had the earthquake.)

The bridge was humped and the car went airborn, just like that ralley Mini...... needless to say they had to pull the TV add because everyone copied them and wrecked their suspension.

I must look for it on Youtube.... someone must have a copy

I'm almost sure that checkered flag at 2.32 minutes is Bathurst. One of the Mini Coopers did win the production car 500 miles one year.
