Premium back on the road

I decided to put my Premium back on the road, it was parked in our garage without a cover. Very dusty after 2 years in storage. I put the battery on charge, checked the levels and it started first time, couldnt believe it. Next step is the MOT on Wednesday, if it passes Il be taxing it to take to Tatton park on Saturday.

Oh yes, mine will need a hell of a clean, i have had to use it as daily driver for the last week and half, in proberbly worst weather so far this year looks like it been off roading. Managed to create a list of niggling items to sort out. its funny when you only use it on the odd weekend you overlook any issues and put it down to character of old car.

The good news is the Premium went straight through the test, no advises. However the Coca Cola car is ready so Premium wont be at Tatton on Saturday.

Did you ever find a small TV to fit in the glove box? It would make a good display item to show what it came with. Last year I saw 5" (or there abouts) TV that would be very closed to what was there in a retro store in Kelowna, BC. Can't be sure but I think it ran off 12V plugging into cigarette lighter. It would have been ideal.

I have a TV for the car, problem is I dont think the glove box will close with it inside. The winner of the car hopes to find the original TV and fridge and give them to me. I am hoping he will drive the car now that its rebuilt.
