There was a guy here in Portland years ago that had a Mazda shop. His name may have been Miller, anyway, he did a couple Spitfires with the rotary motor. They were very neat installations. I guess they could fly.

I used to have a RX2 that I was going to put the engine in a Volkswagon body kit car but moved before it happened and sold the lot. The early rotaries were gas guzzlers, not that important when gas was under 50 cents a gallon. The newer FI one in this car would be much better.

I think that car belongs to the bloke I bought my current 7, & my spares car from. He was selling all his Triumphs, including the rotary 7, & an 8 DHC. He tried to sell all of them to me.

The car was beautifully restored, & had a lot of body modifications/extensive fared body kit fitted. I think he stopped trying to sell back then them when he got too busy in his business.
