Hi all!
Very sorry I should have jumped in here to introduce myself first but I got carried away with the window shopping.
Well I've loved TR7s for years and had a drophead for some years before having to be "sensible" due to KIDS!
So I'm now in the market for another 7, my husband says I never learn but I DO, I had an x1/9 (never again), but hubby's as bad he loves Triumphs too, but his bikes even more so!
So now the weather is hopefully getting better, I can hopefully get my hands on another 7!

Welcome to the forum. A couple of years back a couple of guys who were long time pals stopped to talk to me after I had just parked. Years back, one had a X1/9 while one a TR7. Got the impression the Fiat was none too reliable (as compared to the 7). When shopping for a 7 get the best you can afford as fixing one up that hasn't been looked after can be more expensive than you think even if you (or your husband) do the work yourself. That being said there is a certain satisfaction knowing you did the work yourself, it was done right, work done is now current. A properly sorted TR7 can be a reliable piece of transportation (for a 40 year old design). And it will get the looks that a new MGTF/MX5 won't.

Indeed welcome here Sandy, and hopefully you'll find a nice and solid TR7 DHC in time for summer.
