Not any big questions or problems here just a happy post that may help some one out in the future....
I have been storing up parts for my tr7 over the winter and have started to get it ready for the upcoming warm weather (if it ever happens in the north east us).
I have replaced (ahem, installed, the other was completely gone) the steering bush. amazing difference! New throttle cable. no more sticky throttle, soo smooth now! New Oil transfer housing because the old one was cracked. new oil, new transmission fluid. new plugs.
I thought my alternator was going out, I think it is original but i will have to check with the previous owner, my uncle. It was making cracking/snapping sounds on a load and voltage would drop when any large load was on like the lights or blower. I replaced the belt and properly tensioned it and it runs like a champ! I am happy to find that a new belt seems to have been the culprit and not the alternator!
again not much in here except a thank you to the message board for helpful posts and that if your having alternator issues check your belt for tension and wear before going forward!
