No Photos

Postby tr8 » 18 Mar 2011 15:47

I am sure the topic has been talked about before.

The forum postings would be much better if where "My Photos" link appears below the poster's ID on each posting there is a different non-link for people who do NOT have photos. Perhaps a "No Photos" appears by default until someone loads a photo, then "My Photos" link appears.

It is a pain in the arse trying to look up a person's photos when there are none.

I don't even have that link, and I can't see anything in my profile that matches up with the explanations in the "Photo Album/Forum Help" topic.
How do I get a photo album?

It's listed under Photo Album/Forum Help. It's not intuitive but not impossible. I did it first time I tried it. (I do work with computers so that perhaps disqualifies me as a typical gearhead/web cuiser).

Do I need to have an admin create a Photo Album first? I'm not seeing any of the links referred to in the the help page.

you have one now whitenviro [;)][;)][;)]

-Paul, unless Jay can change something in the set-up , I doubt that would be possible at this moment....

but it is a good point and hopefully the photo album will be addressed when the site gets the much anticipated updated.

If I remember right I think you see the links when you first set up your info. Otherwise after the fact, an administrator must (which Ron has done.) Convoluted stuff that harkens back to the day of early computer code and seems to be resistant to be banished to the ages.[:p]

PS, If you are using a Mac you can not put photos in your album. Copy them to a flash drive and carry them to a PC. Then upload them from there.
