Off to bed now to get some energy so I can give the car its 1st wash of the year.

It's finally January 1 here in Anchorage, Alaska, and it must almost be the second already in NZ. It got above freezing for the first time all month today, so I shoveled the deck and fired up the BBQ for a couple of steaks. Then we lit a fire, put Clapton's Crossroads Festival DVD on the tube, and watched the neighbors fireworks from the the comfort of our living room. Happy New Year to all!
