It is the later (should I say better?) coolant system, used from the 1980 models and onwards.
As for breaking this car for spares, if you count the cost (hours spent to dismantle it) it won't bring you much money.
In the end you'll probably be weighing it in.
So better to try and sell it as a whole car, might give you a better margin ...
Sadly the avarage TR7 isn't a gold mine for scrappies [:p]
