any one can identify these numbers off the mains and
big end bearings that i want to replace. The crank journals
are very good condition but not sure of size of bearings.

Hi Tony,

At a guess and it is just that, 030 refers to +30 thou. Which would indicate a regrind or two in its life. The only way to know for sure is to measure the journal sizes with a micrometer and compare to standard size.
According to a BL Sprint manual i have the standard size of bearing journals are-

Main Bearing- 2.1260 to 2.1265 inch or in new money 54.000 to 54.013mm

Big End Bearing- 1.7500 to 1.705 inch or in new money 44.450 to 44.463 mm

A 8 valve crank is the same as a 16 valve, so all may notbe lost!

Cheers John

Definitely indicates 30 thou oversize bearings - to suit 30 thou undersize crank.

Probably Rimmers- but do shop around! There are often some good Christmas Sales going! That's a Vandervell bearing shown.
