Because it fits! [:D] Correct bolt pattern and offset. And the main aftermarket wheel that fits here in the states, as I'm sure you know, is the Minilite (or the various knockoffs) and I want something different. And I'd rather not go the wheel adapter route.
It's about $600 for a set of minilites from Rota wheels, which I haven't totally ruled out. Then add another $400 for tires (cheap ones at that). Compare that to getting a set of 4 MGF wheels and tires for $200 to $300 then paying for shipping (quote in the works) and I think it will be a substantial savings for a wheel that no one else here has.
Actually what do you mean by "F" wheel. There are a bunch of different styles that come up as MGF wheels (when you search ebay UK). I haven't even decided which one I like best.
But again, the fact that they fit is the answer.
