Cleaning DHC Rear Screens

Hi

What do you Ladies and Gents use to clean your plastic rear screens on your convertable tops [?]

Have not used any of this myself but a lot of people recomend it....

I used Renovo on my DHC & it worked well.

Shame you didn't ask before Billing, John, as I have some left in the pot I could have brought up for you! Ah, well...

The easy way is to do it in a hot day

If not put up the heating to hot so the inside of the car is hot

Even use a hair dryer to get the screen warm (do you own a hair dryer[:D])

Then simply t-cut it and polish (I use Autoglym )

Comes up a treat...</font id="teal"></b>[;)]

I dont know if you get this product over thar, but I use a product call 'Plexus'. It is an aerosol used to clean and shine motorcycle helmet-shields (part ya look thru). I use it inside and out, and on my 1/4 windows as well. It is safe and leaves a nice shiney smooth finish.

Coincidently, it works really well in maintaining window tinting too. Cleans and shines yet wont harm the tint like windex (window cleaner) does.

I have used Plexus but my favourite is Klux plastic cleaner.
the top is original and plastic still clear. Don't know what was used before I got it in 2006.

I no longer have need for a hair dryer, but am pleased about that[:D].

I have used T-cut in the past but any fine cutting paste should work (but must be a fine compound to avoid scratches). I have some G4 and G10 paste from Farecla for the paint work and am considering the G10 for the windows at the moment. May try it tomorrow on the Spit.

Not sure about my head, Pledge maybe?
