Any comments on good insurance companies for a TR7-V8, I need to renew and my current insurer (middleman) does not deal with my current insurer anymore.[8][:p]

Mine's insured through RH Specialist Insurance (01277 206912).
£127 with 2 named drivers, usual stuff fully comp agreed value etc.

I suggest you try Footman James again you get a discout if a member of the TR Drivers or alternatively try Peter James insurance, which was the former James in Footman James tel no 0121 506 6040.

Bet he gets better miles to the gallon than you with that size engine!

Just done my insurance with Peter Best £149.00 unlimited milage, normal other benifits including legal cover and breakdown cover with the AA and homestart. I'm happy.
