Would it be too much to ask for a photo of one installed on a stock engine?

Hi

Drove over to Glen's this evening to pick up my strut brace. A great looking brace, if it performs like it looks then happy day's. Made out some great quality material so no reason why it shouldnt. Will be bolting it on Saturday and will let you know plus a pic with it installed.

Great to see you again Glen and enjoyed the chat

Cheers John

Yes, all well and good for the V8 folks. But, what about us 4cyl folks with stock air boxes?

I believe the Whiteline brace will fit with a standard 2 litre car. It does for my standard right hand drive car, and as far as I am aware will fit left handers. supercass

I have those on both my cars, but as far as I know they no longer supply the TR7 strutbrace.

I did manage to get one from a UK supplier, possibly about a couple of years ago, will hunt out invoice and part number. They may still be available because the three main parts, two tower rings and the bar may be used separately or combined for other applications. I was looking for one for sometime and thought it was somewhat paradoxical that the only part available for a U.K. built car came from Australia! It may not conform to the purists idea of an effective strut bar but it is well made, and seems very solid. I don't know how effective it is as I haven't had chance to drive the car since fitting it. This year perhaps?! supercass
quote:

I spoke to Whiteline a couple months ago and they did confirm, like Beans said, NLA. I thought it must have shared part numbers with other braces but apparently not. Maybe if enough of us send them an email they will make a few. sales@whiteline.com.au (just sent mine)
I was thinking of getting one of the many available on ebay and just making new tower rings. Seems simple enough if I get the right length and height bar.
