OK, going back to the topic of this thread, practising picture insertion you can do somewhere else:

They are the "Y" type as shown in Odd's photo and I had a brief look at fitting them.

I was half expecting a captive nut on the chassis to take the top bolt but found nothing.
Do you have to take the front bumper off and fit the bolt from inside the chassis leg?
I'm fitting the uprated master cylinder/servo at the moment and thought I'd sort this at the same time.

Adam, you are correct.
The top bolt [or nut as it is in my car] goes into the chassis frame from the access hole
that opens when the front bumper is removed. But on the other hand
- once it's correctly done, it's done for eternity. These brackets become an integral part of the body...

Odd,

Thanks for the help. I was afraid that it would be a bumper off job. A bit of Coppergrease stops evey nut and bolt becoming a permanent fixture on a Triumph though.

Many thanks guys she has new cruise lights etc added since this pic, ohh and i have some lovely slot mag wheels once refurbished to go on too, so i will have 2 good sets of wheels.

Listen many thanks for all youre help with the links etc it means that when im trying to desctribe i part im have probs explaining iu can now take a pic and paste it on now and show you what i mean.
