Hope this helps,

I have a couple of Motolita/Mountney type wheels in the garage which I plan to fit but does anyone know a good (inexpensive) source for a boss to fit the TR7?

Newbee question: what exactly is the steering wheel boss? Is it the bit inside the wheel that goes over the splines? Do all bosses fit the same wheel?

Your right 13" wheel does feel small but mostly the upper rim blocks the turn signal lights on dash unlss you duck down a bit to see. (Unless you're shorter than me.) Puts the lie to the advertising claim that unlike the Porsche the dash is unrestricted sight line. But as the 13" wheel is standard on the Spider I won't be changing it. Just chalk it up to "the character of the car."

I think personally that the 13" wheel certainly looks the best and the 13" mota-lita is in my book the best looking of them all. It was often used on the competition cars in non-reflective black. I also think it looks poor (sorry) if it isn't the semi-dished version.

The smaller the wheel though the stiffer the steering and it does obscure the turn indicator lights.

You can find bosses on ebay every so often, I picked one up for a fiver. I think wood rimmed is not allowed in MSA events?
