Hi,
Looks like a Sherpa based servo, as far as i can remeber the SD1 does not have the 2 studs above the master cylinder where as a Sherpa does.
The SD1 also had brake fluid level sensor built into a larger cap on the resivior.Also could be wrong [:I] but the brake pipes on a SD1 master cylinder exit on the other side to the one shown but not 100% sure [?]

You are probably right. Looks the same as my uprated unit from S&S. I asked if it came from an SD1 and they said no, but declined to say which unit it was. Works well anyway.

Judging by the paint, it looks like the guy is just taking whatever unit he can find and painting it over with POR-15 to hide how used it is leaving the buyer to fend for himself as far as it's mechanical reliability.

When my replacement arrives I will strip it down and let you its condition.

If it doesn't fit you obviously need a bigger hammer.

Bit of a tip, you really should change the resevoir to the angled TR7 one.
