Just found your post and have just sent you the details of mine -- the plate that you referred to for colour code /interior code isn't there -- would it be anywhere else??

On early Speke cars it is on front panel under forward edge of bonnet, on later Speke and Canley cars it's under the door striker plate, Solihull cars have it on upper right turret while some USA Solihull built have it on A or B posts (under door latch as on my Solihull built Spider.) What sometimes happens is the Commission Plate/Vin Number Plate is removed when respraying to prevent a badly worn plate from detracting from a new paint job in which case you won't find it anywhere.
Sorry to be 11th hour, Jclay, but just to say my car details are as before. At least I think I sent you the details before - maybe I had better email them again just in case[:I]

Hi Jclay, I think I can speak for everyone here who contributed info is that we all thank you very much for taking the time and effort in compiling all this stuff. Thanks again for going above and beyond.
Thank you JClay. Most interesting. Examining the data will be a long-term amusement! Do you know how much of the forum (member's cars) this represents?

Once again, an excellent job of collating all this information and making it available to us all. We really should remember that Jclay does this purely voluntarily and we certainly should not moan about bits we feel ought to be shown or not.
Well done Jclay, I certainly appreciate your efforts.
