Hi Hugh, unless I know the car and owner i couldn't comment with confidence if either was a good one or not from a web photo. I'd hate you to buy a lemon on my say so. The youngest of these are 36 years old now.

I just missed the Ullswater car show as we had to leave the Lakes early in the morning for Scotland. We saw the field marked out with one yellow MGB GT in it. Hopefully the rain held off for you.

Busheytrader the Dalemain show was excellent good weather loads of cars and some good auto testing . Graeme Forrester who does a lot of the organising is an MG enthusiast so it could probably have been one of his cars.
Next year is the 30th anniversary and will be held around the same time if you are about

Hi folks!!

I’m back after nearly 2 years!! Yep exactly!! I finally have my TR!!

He is a 1981 dhc in navy blue with 100,000 miles on the clock!!

I bought him from Mr. Steve at S&S Preparations!!

Unfortunately the head-gasket went a couple of weeks into my ownership but I suppose to be expected of a car of this age!!It is now nearly fixed and I hope it gives me many years of joy!!
